We are one of the many Republican Women clubs in the Los Angeles area, the State of California, and the nation. We are women from all age groups and walks of life.
We are located in the western end of the San Fernando Valley, and we have been in existence since 1958. We started out as the Canoga Park Republican Women Federated. As the Valley grew and community names changed, our name was changed to include the West Hills area. Thus today we are known as the Canoga Park / West Hills Republican Women Federated (CPWHRWF).
We meet regularly and welcome visitors at our meetings.
- January through June and September through November we meet at the Radisson Hotel in
Chatsworth, 9777 Topanga Canyon Boulevard, 10:30 A.M. TO 2:00 P.M.
- Other activities take place in July, August, and December. Check our schedule of events.
We encourage membership - even if you don't live in the immediate area
Be counted as a dedicated Republican Woman. Receive the newsletter. Be notified of important legislation. Pay your dues, currently $35 per year. Men can also join as Associate Members with dues of $15 per year.

Our purposes are:
- To educate our members with outstanding speakers at our monthly meetings
- To educate others - primarily through our newsletter
- To register voters - at our local mall and at the Los Angeles County Fair
- To help to elect Republican candidates to office by making phone calls, walking precincts, and manning the local Republican Headquarters
- To communicate with our legislators on an ongoing basis with letters, emails, and sometimes in person
- To do service in our community - currently we support the "My Stuff Bag" program for abused children, Haven Hills for abused women, and "Operation Gratitude" for our military service men and women.
We are effective in our community - we are Winning Women!
- We BELIEVE our strength comes from diversity of opinion, experiences and culture.
- We BELIEVE in the power of grassroots political activism.
- We BELIEVE our legacy is developing political leaders for the future.
- We BELIEVE in government that requires personal responsibility while protecting the worth of the individual.
- We BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person's dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.
- We BELIEVE in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability.
- We BELIEVE free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.
- We BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.
- We BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations, and that the best government is that which governs least.
- We BELIEVE the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.
- We BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.
- We BELIEVE Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.
Finally, we BELIEVE the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.
